DLC Review: Fallout 3: Operation: Anchorage

DLC: Operation: Anchorage

Gameplay:
It starts out like a regular Fallout 3 DLC. But since this was their first DLC, they still had a lot to learn about Fallout 3 DLC. So basically it wasn't too good.
The gameplay is mostly just killing people. There's lots of fighting people and not much fun stuff. You can't bring in any of your stuff, and it's really hard at low levels. There's no moral decision, making it not seem very Fallout 3-ish. The only good things are the amount of XP you'll get from killing people, and the goods at the end. There's a lot at the end that will really help your game, which makes everything worth it.
6/10

Story:
Basically, you go into a simulation pod that takes you back to the liberation on Anchorage, Alaska, from Chinese Communists. It's not a bad story and is interesting and makes sense if you follow it.
8/10

Recommend? No. The gameplay is pretty terrible. It will only help your Fallout 3 character afterwards when you get all the awesome stuff at the end, which is pretty much the only reason to get the DLC. Seriously...if you get this DLC, it offers the best stuff out of any DLC so far. That's the only reason to get it.
